Art Gap Exhibition
Art Gap is an exhibition that first took place in World Art Dubai 2019 presented by Standard Chartered Bank. The objective of the exhibition was to bring awareness to a gender pay gap that was discovered after a study made by University of Oxford - Said Business School highlighted that works by women artists sell for 47.6% less than those by men. Standard Chartered Bank brought together a collective of 19 women artists from 11 nationalities to showcase their incomplete art pieces. They painted 47.6% less of their canvas, matching the exact percentage of their pay gap. Exhibition
